Armstrong Returns
In the race Lance accompanied 37,000 runners and a crowd of 2.5 million people watching.
I'm going back next year; I've decided I'm going back," said Armstrong in a recent telephone interview.
"I was surprised by the amount of coverage," he said, being amazed by the attention he has received from New York regarding his next challenge.
Since his last marathon, where he raised $600,000 for his foundation, and cancer research and accomplished his personal goal finishing in 2 hours and 59 minutes, Armstrong has not run. He has received many offers to engage in the political and acting field, but is mainly working on being retired.BY:Cindy Ferguson
