Create Great Success With A Foundation Built on Integrity

Always do the right thing. Never compromise your values, honesty , integrity, or character for any type of situation. Sometimes in an effort to get ahead, or reach an incentive or some bonus some have stretched or flat out broken the rules and in some cases the law. This type of activity never serves you well. Keep your word at all times and if you cannot call the person or persons involved and let them know why and perhaps reschedule if you can. This establishes you as a person of character and integrity; someone who can be counted on ; someone whose word is a bond. Establishing these types of notches in your belt will do more for your career than anything you can imagine.
Soon others will actively seek you out for employment based on these attributes. They know you can be counted on as one who will not bend the rules or do anything that will embarrass their company. You are one who can be trusted and when promotions and opportunities for advancement comes along your name will come up time and time again. This will put you way out ahead of the pack. Far and above the individual that engages in unethical practices. Never make casual agreements just to get rid of someone. Word of this activity soon gets out and you will become known as a person who cannot be trusted because you dont keep your word.
If you are late to a meeting you committed to you are not keeping your word; being late to work, coming back from lunch and breaks late is another example of this. If you think no one is paying attention believe me someone is always paying attention. It will be brought to your attention if you consistently engage in that type of activity. Once you have established yourself as a person who cannot be trusted or who is not
dependable it will be very hard to shake that label and it could follow you through out your career unless you make some changes.
These types of activities have a domino effect. They keep you from receiving additional responsibility which in turn keeps you from being promoted. It can also cause you to receive lower compensation in terms of the raises you receive annually. Over time your earning power is affected, which effects the amount of money you are able to put away for saving, investments, and retirement. Sometimes this word, good or bad, can travel to other companies. Someone you know may have gone to another company and if they ask that person should you be hired the response will be according to your reputation, integrity , character, and honesty. You may never
receive the job offer from another company and never know why. It could be one of those situations where you thought everything went so well in the interview process.
Therefore it is imperative that you guard your integrity, honesty, character, and reputation by doing so you put yourself in a position to go Beyond Greatness!!!!!!
