Broadband Providers Check before you change!

The number of broadband customers has grown massively since the introduction of Talk Talks free broadband offer in April last year. There are many similar offers from other providers with varying degrees of service quality, always make sure you check before changing broadband providers.

With companies like Talk Talk offering broadband deals of this nature, there is always going to be an upsurge of applicants. This upsurge can however result in a poor quality of service whilst the providers attempt to cope with the increased demand.

The recent MAC code regulation from Ofcom has pushed providers to give customers the ability to leave their services more freely. This has given the smaller providers the edge as they naturally place a greater emphasis on customer service, so consumers who have experienced poor customer service are more drawn to the smaller providers.

So, how do you avoid committing to a 12 contract with a company you know nothing about?

The Internet has started to evolve and sites such as moneysupermarket.com have begun to introduce and develop a broadband comparison community, offering valuable advice, customer reviews and forums to help consumers share experiences about providers and help others decide which provider is best for their needs.

By using these types of resources its clear that the bigger providers who offer cheap broadband arent necessarily the right choice for some people, with the smaller companies such as Be Broadband, Eclipse, Namesco and Madasafish coming out on top in customers reviews.

Each of these smaller providers ranks highly across areas such as customer service, technical support, speed, billing and reliability. They can therefore build up their reputation as being an excellent all-round provider, offering great products and services, therefore profiting from all the benefits of steady growth.

Its likely that the bigger names will take a leaf out of their books over the coming months and improve their customer service to retain more customers.
